The Sudan has finally signed a peace agreement that ends the war between the government in Khartoum and the SPLA rebels in the south.

However, this does not solve the ongoing crisis in Darfour. Some hope that the recent agreement with the south could be used as a roadmap for future resolution of this tragedy in the west of the country.
